Diary of an Infatuation Junkie is the title of the art installation (10′ x 42′ x 12′) I have been invited to create by Swatch Internationals Creative Director, Carlo Giordanetti, for The Venice Biennale’s Swatch Pavilion. Swatch is the main partner of The Venice Biennale 2015. The 56th edition opened May 9, 2015 under the title “All the World’s Futures” curated by Okwui Enwezor and runs through November 22, 2015. http://www.labiennale.org/en/art/exhibition/baratta/

ESCAPE TO CREATE

I am extremely grateful to have received my third residency this Winter
@ one of the most beautiful and fabulous residencies in the country, Escape2Create.
I will be living  just a short walk away from the Gulf of Mexico for four weeks in
the birthplace of New Urbanism: The Seaside Institute
and the set location for The Truman Show…now, how cool is that!

PHOTOGRAPHY SHOOT IN INDIA   November  8 – 24   2013
Photographer Ingrid Songster and I will be shooting the Pushkar Camel Festival in India
the Bishnoi Village in Chandelao Garh and a four day stint in Varanasi.
